Oasis Daycare
OASIS is a day care ministry for impoverished children in Bogota, Colombia. Not only does this ministry help the physical needs of the children, it seeks to help children develop spiritually, academically, socially, and artistically. For $50/month you can sponsor a child who as part of OASIS will be able to attend the day care four hours a day and receive five meals a week.
An Update from Oasis’s Founder Two Months After Launch
For us, it is a large challenge (in the sense of blessing) to care for the children of Oasis every day, to see how they have been taking steps of change: they arrive and pray for their meals, they are diligent in their devotions, they are memorizing verses… to see the changes in their behavior, this is marvelous.
They have found a family; they are happy in this place.
Above all they are all memorizing weekly verses and learning the principles and values of respect and integrity.
